In Dubai (UAE), on February 10, 2026, an international technology conference titled “Energy Evolution Conference, Awards & Expo 2026” was held, where pioneering innovations in the energy industry and renewable technologies were presented. This event gathered experts and innovators from the energy field with the aim of identifying and discussing sustainable energy solutions at a time when the future of energetics is being actively redefined.

Serbia was represented at this gathering by Veljko Milković, our famous researcher and innovator from Novi Sad, who was declared one of the leaders of excellence in the energy industry. According to the organizers’ statement, Milković was presented with the “Energy Evolution Award” for his contribution to energetics and innovations in sustainable technologies.

He is the author of 120 inventions and about 30 approved patents and is one of the most cited independent researchers.
“Energy sources are the leading cause of conflicts in the world. We can solve that problem with an abundance of energy from gravity, where we get perfectly clean energy, just as Nikola Tesla (1856–1943) announced as early as 1900, that in energetics we can ‘profit’ from gravity and magnetism and thus have an inexhaustible source of energy for everyone,” emphasizes our inventor, who last year marked his first 70 years of creative work, which have yielded numerous inventions that have found application from America to Asia.
Building on the success of the conference, Next Business Media announced a series of new specialized technology conferences focused on sectors that will continue to advance the sustainability and energy agenda, which will be held throughout this year in Europe, Asia, and America. The next energy gathering, which will further continue to present pioneering innovations in energy transition, renewable technologies, and sustainability, will take place in March 2027 in Dubai.

With this new recognition, Veljko Milković continues a streak of successes that began in previous years when the Tesla Science Foundation from the USA awarded him the Tesla Gold Medal and the “Tesla Spirit Award” in 2024 for realizing Tesla’s vision regarding the use of gravity to power machines, and the previous year at a major international innovation competition in Canada, his invention, the two-stage mechanical oscillator, was declared one of the 10 best inventions in the world.
